Adult text chat hotline
The Veterans Crisis Line is operated through a partnership between MHA-NYC and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Next to talking one-on-one, texting is currently one of the most instant forms of communication.
You have the right to be in a safe and healthy relationship free from all types of abuse.
With a good business idea and the willingness to work hard, you can make a go of a chat line operator business.
Any Veteran or Service member in crisis, or any person concerned about one, can call the confidential Veterans Crisis Line, use the online chat, or send a text message, even if not registered with VA or enrolled in VA health care, and regardless of discharge status.
You may also start a chat line where people can get advice about purchases, seek technical support or even share gossip about their favorite celebrities. Decide whether you will act as the sole operator on your chat line or hire others to help you.
If you are the sole operator, this means you will have to accept fewer calls as you are starting out, and some callers may become annoyed if they cannot reach you right away.
If you order 900 numbers, you will have to pay an upfront, per-line fee and a monthly fee, but the telephone company will charge your callers for each minute they spend on your line.
With an 800 number, you may pay an initial fee and monthly charge as well as your callers' per-minute charges.
